Will callers know they're talking to an AI?
We recommend being upfront, and the receptionist can say so in its greeting. Many callers simply care that someone picked up and got them booked. If calls are recorded, the greeting tells callers that too.
Do I need a new phone number?
No. Keep your number and use your telco's call forwarding to send calls to the receptionist: only after hours, only when you don't pick up, or all the time. You choose, and you can change it whenever you like.
How is customer data handled under the PDPA?
Call logs, bookings and review responses are stored in accounts set up for your business, and we only process them to run the service for you. Callers are told they're speaking to an AI assistant, review messages go only to customers you've served, and anyone can opt out of review messages at any time.
What if the caller asks something the AI can't handle?
It takes their details and the reason for the call, and the call summary is logged straight away so you can call back. We review calls with you in the first weeks and keep improving its answers.
Is it OK to ask customers for Google reviews like this?
Yes, as long as everyone is asked fairly. Our review engine gives every customer the option to post a public review, and offers unhappy customers a private way to reach you too. We never filter out negative reviews, because Google's policies forbid it.
Who owns the accounts?
You do. We set everything up in your business's name: the automation platform, the AI voice provider, your phone number and messaging. Those tools bill you directly at cost, with no markup from us. If you ever stop working with us, everything keeps running and stays yours.
Who builds and supports it?
Ilumax Systems, the Singapore software studio behind this site. The same team that sets up your receptionist maintains it, and we reply within one working day.
